The Simone Loose Casual Shirt draws inspiration from the overshirt—a hybrid between the traditional shirt and the utilitarian shirt-jacket, designed to be worn open over a T-shirt or buttoned up over a thin sweater as a mid-layer. The construction retains the hallmarks of a classic shirt—pointed collar, front button closure, single-button cuffs, and rounded hem—with the addition of double flap chest pockets that distinguish the garment as an overshirt rather than an office shirt. The soft, midweight fabric has a clean drape and a more substantial visual texture than a lightweight plain shirt, allowing the garment to hold its shape even when worn open without sagging on the body.
