Francesco Suede Vest

The Francesco Suede Vest is inspired by the classic country-style suede Western vest—featuring a V-shaped yoke across the shoulders and chest, a front closure with five metal snap buttons, two low-set welt pockets, and a center-pointed hem. The construction explicitly evokes the traditional American Western and cowboy waistcoat—an archetype historically distant from the Italian wardrobe, which in recent years has entered the men’s fashion repertoire as a deliberate reference to the mature country style. The monochromatic version, without fringed inserts, decorative embroidery, or two-tone contrasts, keeps the garment true to the understated aesthetic of the country waistcoat—stripped of the costume-like elements of traditional Western wear.
